Cadasse Bakery Est 1974

Our Story

Cadasse Bakery started more than 5 decades ago by 3 brothers and remains a family-owned business to this day.

Its small-scale operations began in the village of Anse-la Raye, selling bread to the surrounding communities from the back of a wagon car.

A few years later the business moved to the City of Castries and after relocating twice, settled in the community of Marchand. The business grew its infrastructure and expanded to include the production of several bread varieties, cakes and pastries and widened its supply and distribution.

Today, its operations are semi-automated, complemented by the skill and experience of its local bakers who mould and produce our traditional as well as modern signature breads. Our cake and pastry team is headed by our treasured senior chef, Mr E, who joined the business in 1979!

Our products can be found in local supermarkets and retailers, our own shops and cafes, and several service-driven businesses.

Our long standing in the industry hasn’t existed without the dedication and consistency of some of our oldest serving staff. Mr E (better known as Captain) and Senior Chef J have a resounding track record, going back decades!. But along the way, and as we currently stand, every single staff member is worthy of recognition.
